  Research
 
The aim of the project is to collect detailed empirical evidence on various types of interfirm networks and investigate their impact on the dynamic of economic systems, at both the industrial and national level.
More specifically the project covers the following fields:
- division of innovative labor and networks of collaborative agreements in biotechnology
- nature of R&D and headquearter-subsidiary relationships in multinational companies in the chemical industry
- division of labor between manufacturers and process technology specialists in the chemical industry
- networks of buyer-supplier relationships and long term industrial dynamics in the aeroengine industry
- the role of specialized suppliers in technological advancements in traditional industries (tile industry, mechanical engineering)
- the impact of economic restructuring on interfirm agreements in Latin America.
